Another deputy from Renovación Nacional opened up to evaluate a second withdrawal of 10% of the AFPs. First it was Diego Schalper, and now Camilo Morán joined, who communicated through his social networks that he is open to discuss and evaluate this proposal.
This he did after listening to the constitution commission of the chamber of deputies, which began the process of this project this Wednesday.
“Withdrawal of funds is not optimal, it always has to be the last option. However, in the discussion of a second retreat, I cannot close or close the debate. It must be discussed and analyzed on its merit ”, he explained.
“I repeat that it has to be a last option and emergency. Unemployment is high, people need help, and I also know that there are 1.8 million people who this time will not be able to receive funds, because they no longer have more in the AFP So we have to analyze, evaluate and debate all the options, “he added.
The ruling parliamentarian also advocated that if this discussion continues, a broader consensus can be reached, for example, advance in parallel to approving the reform of the pension system. He also urged that we must work and support government aid so that it reaches the people as the first option. “If in this process we can reach a broader consensus, even better. We must work so that government aid reaches the people. We do not know how the pandemic will continue. And this time we have to understand that we cannot be late ”.
