The mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadue, described as unacceptable the words of the Minister of Health, Enrique Paris, after criticism for his participation in the anniversary of October 18.

The communist militant arrived yesterday at Baquedano square on two occasions, where he was seen sharing closely with dozens of people with little social distance.

Given this, Paris took advantage of the balance of the coronavirus to criticize it, although did not want to mention it directly.

“I did not name any mayor, but everyone saw on television and radio that a mayor would start running after taking photos, even hugged with other people, also without complying with sanitary norms ”, he pointed out.

He added that “if in 14 more days we we have a coronavirus outbreak in Santiago, those who called for a demonstration and did not care about health will be responsible for that outbreak, just as they sometimes make us responsible for what happens, they will be responsible for the outbreak: the mayors who ran out of the demonstration will be responsible for this outbreak if it happens 14 days from now ”.

Since the words were clearly in relation to Jadue, the communal chief responded to Paris in Twitter.

“The statements of the minister @DrEnriqueParis are unacceptable. To speak of regrowth, at some point there must have been total control of the pandemic, something that neither you nor your predecessor have achieved. Don’t play with the pain of a whole country! ”, He pointed out.

Remember that Jadue sued the president Sebastian Piñera, the former minister Jaime Mañalich and the undersecretaries Paula Daza and Arturo Zúñiga, for the deaths of covid-19 in Recoleta.
