The mayor of Recoleta, Daniel Jadue, He reiterated that the attempted attack on his person this Sunday in Baquedano Square was “concerted” and that they will initiate legal actions to determine those who are possible responsible.

“We identified one of the people who tried to attack us, it was he who pointed out that he was from Fonda Permanente, a question that is false and accounts for something arranged. I know the commitment of Fonda Permanente with the transformations that Chile needs. We will initiate legal action, ”he tweeted.

For its part, The permanent Fonda La Popular had issued a statement after Jadue’s statements, who initially claimed that a group had gotten off a truck from this place to try to attack him and expel him from Plaza Baquedano at noon this Sunday.

“The Fonda Permanente does not have trucks and would never attack the mayor since we have always supported his management and leadership
(…) La Fonda is only 3 people, a married couple and the brother of one of them, we regret this problem and we are very scared and worried about this confusion in which we are involved and from now on we express our support for Daniel Jadue ”, they indicated it’s a statement.
