The current president of the Medical College, Izkia Siches, announced that will apply again to the position he holds in the next union elections.
Through a statement, Siches affirmed that during the last time the establishment he leads has become one of the institutions “Most valued by citizens and a technical reference for health decision making”.
Also, the new application seeks to keep current members of the board in each of his positions, corresponding to the vice president, Dr. Patricio Meza; the National Secretary, Dr. José Miguel Bernucci; the treasurer, Dr. Jaime Sepúlveda and the Pro Secretary, Dr. Inés Guerrero.
In turn, in the letter Izkia Siches pointed out that “we advance in the defense of the rights of each one of the members of our union, we fight for good practices and fair certifications, for the role and vocation of our profession and, for our patients, seeking to transform the health of Chile “.
“We have great health challenges ahead and we have achieved leadership to generate proposals, debates and consensus taking the experiences of our departments, of the groups of Resident, General Zone and Primary Health Care doctors together with the academy in its different fields and the Scientific Societies ”, he declared.
Finally, the elections of the guild in question will take place between 10 and 13 December next.
