This Sunday, ANFP made official the release of Captain Gary Medel of the convocation of the Red for Qualifying matches that the Chilean team will play against Uruguay and Colombia.

The national player was injured in the 19th minute in the duel between Benevento and Bologna due to a muscular discomfort that ended up taking him out of the double qualifying date. According to the ANFP, it was a tear in the left calf.
