Government figures indicate that the first delivery of the IFE was made when 60 percent of the country was in quarantine. The contribution benefited four out of every 10 Chileans, which means that at least eight million people were benefited.
During the month of December, the people who benefited from the IFE – and who remained in a quarantined commune – received a new payment on an exceptional basis.
