A man died this Monday at a company in the commune of Independence, after being shot by another subject in an incident that is being investigated by police personnel.
According to the preliminary information, the crime occurred in a company dedicated to the manufacture of industrial furnaces located in the Spring Street, until where A vehicle arrived from which a subject descended and shot the factory owner, a 47-year-old man.
The Carabineros captain Héctor Cornejo He said that the institution was alerted by “shots fired at the scene, and when he arrived at the scene of the event” he found “an adult person lying inside a company.”
“By first inquiries, we could determine that it is a homicide,” Cornejo said.
According to witnesses, four people were transported in the suspect vehicle, only one of whom got out of the car and fired the shots.
Personnel from the Carabineros and the Investigative Police Homicide Brigade are working there.
