The University of Chile reported this Sunday that a member of its coaching staff was confirmed positive for Covid-19, in the health report that he delivered prior to his match this Monday against Cobresal (which also has a contagion).
“Before carrying out the tests and at the beginning of the training, an assistant from the coaching staff reported mild symptoms and, for the same reason, he was isolated immediately after taking the PCR and did not participate in the morning practice with the rest of the team, “reported the lay club.
“When the results were known, the positive case of the support staff was confirmed, who did not have close contacts with any other member of the campus”, the institution specified, while informing that it has already notified the “corresponding authorities” regarding the situation.
“It should be noted that in this recent test no other positive case was detected”, emphasized the blue club. “In our squad of players no contagions have been detected. We will continue to strengthen sanitary measures in order to protect the health of all our officials,” he said.
