“Not thrown away, but practically given away or someone who lent you an armchair for a while, someone who lent you a room another day and so on. That was the most complicated moment, ”says Joche Bibbó about the situation he experienced during his first years in Chile, when he was 18 and left Argentina looking for a better situation.

The former reality boy contacted the interview program that Martín Cárcamo does on instagram and referred to his family in Argentina and how he invested the money he earned on television, among other topics.

Meanwhile, these were his words about his beginnings in the country and the unexpected help he received from the Coté López family:

“I came to Chile at 18, today I am 36, I must be more than 15 years old here. People know me from the reality TV era, but reality TV was given to me six or seven years after I arrived. Before I had to work, skateboard, take the subway, bus, what anyone does, but on the tourist side.

“I came to work with practically nothing one summer, to seek a better quality of life. Because I am from the era of Argentina in 2000, when it was falling apart, which was the very big crisis, many people were expelled, many young people left the country. At that time I left “

Martín Cárcamo: “I read that you were thrown in the street, is it that strong?”

Joche Bibbo: “Launched like this on the street no. Yes, at one point we did not have a place to live and we could not find a place to be, because in the place where we were at the beginning we could not be anymore. Not thrown away, but practically given away or someone who lent you an armchair for a while, someone who lent you a room another day and so on. That was the most difficult moment.

“I’m talking to you when I was 19 years old, nobody knew me, it was more difficult to get contacts, it was more difficult for people to trust you. When I arrived we were with a friend, we had no place to stay, the pension quota expired and we didn’t have any money either.

“Later, due to those coincidences of life in a supermarket, I met Coté López’s brother and they welcomed me into their home, without knowing me. Before Coté was known “

Carcamo: “Stop, does he give you accommodation without knowing you?”

Bibbo: “We met there, we were chatting, we exchanged phones and yes, practically without meeting each other after two or three days, he gave accommodation to me and a friend. Later I met the family and everything, but yes, they collaborated too much in part of my stay, in everything “

Carcamo: “What a beautiful gesture. To thank you all your life “

Bibbo: “The father is also a very kind person, he behaved very well, because without knowing us he opened the doors of your house. You have two kids that you don’t know, you as a parent ask your son ‘where did you get them from?’, ‘They are some Argentines I met there in the supermarket two days ago’.

“They behaved very well, a spectacular family, the mother too. They always fed us, they fed us as if we were their children, they treated us with incredible affection. Really they are owed a lot “

Carcamo: “Are you still in contact with them?”

Bibbo: “I talk to them, I talk to the brother. When the ‘Magician’ Jiménez was playing against Talleres de Córdoba they invited me to the field. When I can I go and chat with them. They are still the same people ”.
