This Friday, February 26, the payment of the COVID Emergency Family Income and COVID Bonus, delivered due to the coronavirus pandemic.
According to what is detailed by the Ministry of Social Development, the aid will depend on the socio-economic situation of the applicant and the phase in which his commune was in the framework of the Step by Step plan.
IMPORTANT: People must enter their data and then, already within their profile, go to the section ‘My Payments’ where the result will be reported.
Regarding payments, from February 26 to March 3, payments will be made by transfer to the RUT Account. Meanwhile, from March 2 onwards, payments will be made in person at Caja Los Héroes, while from March 2 to 9, it will be in person at Banco Estado.

Remember that only a few days ago, President Sebastián Piñera announced the extension in the delivery of the Emergency Family Income benefits and the COVID Bonus.

IFE COVID
It will be delivered to families living in communes that have been in Quarantine for at least 2 or 4 weeks.
Households that are in the Household Social Registry, with at least:
- A member of the 6th contribution of the IFE.
- A cause of the Unique Family Subsidy, and that the household reports income below the IFE threshold.
- A user of the System of Security and Opportunities, and that the household reports income below the IFE threshold
- Households within the 60% most vulnerable that report income below the IFE threshold.
Regarding the amount, $ 100,000 will be delivered for each of the people in the household for communes that have been in quarantine for at least 28 days in the indicated periods (or $ 400,000 for a 4-person household) and up to $ 80,000 per person for communes that have been in quarantine between 14 and 27 days during the same period (or $ 320,000 for a 4-person household).
The individual amount decreases from the fifth member, and there is a ceiling for those households with 10 or more members ($ 759 thousand or $ 607 thousand, as appropriate).
IFE COVID transition
It will be delivered in the communes that have been in Transition for at least 14 days.
In addition, families who are in the Household Social Registry, and that they have at least:
- A cause of the Unique Family Subsidy, and that the household reports income below the INCB threshold.
- A user of the System of Security and Opportunities, and that the household reports income below the IFE threshold
- Households within the 60% most vulnerable that report income below the IFE threshold.
Regarding the amount, this will be up to $ 40,000 per person of the household for communes in Phase 2 (or $ 160,000 for a household of 4 people).
In addition, the figure per member falls from the fifth, with a ceiling in households with 10 or more members ($ 303 thousand).
COVID Preparation and Opening Bonus
It will be delivered in the communes that have been at least 14 days in Preparation or Initial Opening.
Families who are in the Social Registry of Households and who have at least:
- A cause of the Unique Family Subsidy, and that the household reports income below the IFE threshold
- A user of the Security and Opportunities System, and that the household reports income below the IFE threshold.
Regarding the amount, up to $ 25,000 per person of the household will be delivered for communes in phase 3 or 4 (or $ 100,000 for a household of 4 people).
The amount per member is capped in households with 10 or more members ($ 250,000).
