Chile’s presidential candidate Let’s go, Sebastian Sichel, He assured that he did not use the Banco Estado as a platform to launch his candidacy, indicating that he would have liked to remain in office for longer.
“I would have loved to be more in each of the positions. You do not decide how long you last in office, “said Sichel when asked if he used the bank or other positions he has held during the second government of Sebastián Piñera (vice president of Corfo and Minister of Social Development).
In an interview with Mega Noticias, the lawyer defended his management before Banco Estado, saying that he had several fights with different “power groups” such as unions and unions, and that if his intention had been to use the state company as a platform, he would have avoided them.
“I dedicated myself to doing what I thought was the right thing to do at the bank and I fought with some who are criticizing me now. What were my fights? Open until 4:00 p.m. My second big fight, on the second day of the hack, I decided to open the branches (…) My third fight was that there were officials who lied to ask for the middle class bonus, ”he said.
Sichel’s management was also marked by a tense relationship with the company’s union. Confirmed the resignation of the now candidate, the president of the organization, Marco Beas, indicated that Sichel’s “was the most disastrous management they have had.”
Regarding the use of the official Banco Estado account on Twitter, to fire him and wish him success in the future, Sichel assured that he had no responsibility and that he was already outside the institution at the time the publication was made.

Regarding his candidacy, Sichel said that despite not being a member of a military party, he would eventually govern with the political and technical cadres of Chile Vamos, indicating that there must be an alliance between the right and the center right.
