After being formalized for frustrated patricide, the case Hernán Calderón Argandoña still giving a lot to talk about.
This Tuesday, for example, a series of audios of conversations of Hernán Calderón Salinas, where new antecedents of the case are revealed, such as that a close defense of his son asks to desist from requesting the preventive detention of the 23-year-old and offers, in exchange, to withdraw the complaint for repeated sexual abuse.
The voice messages and calls to the lawyer were made prior to the formalization hearing, on August 16 and 17, and these are some of his revelations:
one. “My friend, for the record, the idea would then be that you and your lawyers do not support the request for preventive detention regarding your son and on the other hand, the defense, Mario Vargas, would withdraw from the complaints for repeated abuse”.
On August 17, Rebeca Naranjo, Hernán Calderón Argandoña’s girlfriend, filed a complaint against Calderón Salinas for alleged repeated sexual abuse against him.
In the document, the alleged victim narrated some of the events that would have occurred from September 2019 to mid-2020.
Among the details are mentioned alleged practices that the lawyer would have had against the young woman, among which there would be comments and friction on the part of Calderón Salinas.
two. “My daughters are the most indignant. All they want is to keep you going. If before they were blunted, now they are blinded “.
The lawyer refers to Kel and Francisca Calderón, who according to their account, “want me to reserve shares, slander complaints against the galla, everything.”
It must be remembered that Raquel Calderón has been all this time in favor of the actions that her father has carried out.
Without going any further, on two occasions the future lawyer referred to her brother as a “parricide”, which suggests that the distance between the two is total.
3.“The entire Prosecutor’s Office is going to be against Hernán, I only tell you that.”
In this part, Calderón and Opazo talk about the possibility of withdrawing both complaints (the first against Calderón Jr. and the alleged sexual abuse of the lawyer).
Without going any further, Cristián Opazo indicates to Calderón that the case will be closely followed by the National Prosecutor Jorge Abbott himself.
“Furthermore, it is not known how the prosecutor’s hand comes. Because apparently Abbott is on top of this crap, for the whole issue that ‘In Chile there is no justice for the rich,’ he said.
Four. “If you asked me as a human being, I would have expected the mother to have intervened strongly, talked to him and said ‘call your father and ask forgiveness on his knees.”
That was exposed by Hernán Calderón Salinas as a criticism of the reaction that Raquel Argandoña, mother of Nano Calderón, had once the events took place.
At this point, the lawyer maintains that the complaint for alleged sexual abuse of his son’s partner is false.
“Regret what you did, promise and this time enter a psychiatric impulse control treatment and then we will see what we can do with your father.” Do not start threatening the father that they are going to mount a false complaint of sexual abuse, which does not lessen him at all ”, he sentenced.
5. “I don’t know why he wanted to kill me”
As it is read, until that moment Calderón Salinas did not know his son’s intention to carry out the latest attack in his Las Condes apartment.
“That is what I want to solve. According to everyone, they say it was for the money, but I don’t even want to think about it, “he said.
In this sense, the lawyer maintains that Rebeca Naranjo left that place because of a fight she had with her son, and not because of differences with her ex-father-in-law.
6. “He does not have to introduce himself to me, what he has to do is enter a psychiatric impulse control treatment, in parallel with facing responsibility for the things he has done.”
For Hernán Calderón Sr., the first thing his son had to do was enter psychiatric treatment, even before getting together again.
In this regard, Raquel Argandoña’s ex-husband exclaims that he is afraid even for the integrity of his daughter Raquel Calderón, who had had conflicts with her brother.
To that is added the revelation, by Calderón Salinas, of a problem that his son had with the couple during a vacation in the Bahamas.
7. “Why do you think I’m doing this? Because tomorrow he either kills me, or kills Kel or the same mine, Rebecca “
Those events had been narrated, days ago, by Raquel Calderón herself in her statement to the Public Ministry, where she revealed her brother’s violent attitude.
One of the aspects that attracted the most attention were alleged death threats from the law student towards his mother, Raquel Argandoña, due to a publication on social networks.
“His father doesn’t want to screw up his career and keeps quiet. Then he is going to stab him and even more so he comes out taking pictures and jumping for joy, “he said.
8. “I cannot continue to support a son, and then carry on my conscience that he is killed in a reaction, or that he kills one of my daughters or a third party”
Along with that, Calderón Salinas points out that the defense strategy that the other party took with Nano Calderón is wrong.
Without going any further, this Tuesday Rebeca Naranjo withdrew from the complaint for alleged sexual abuse filed before her ex-father-in-law.
9. “The correct way, that I told Raquel on a WhatsApp, is that ‘for once, react like a good mother and worry about admitting Hernán to a good treatment”
In this sense, it should be noted that Raquel Argandoña hired the legal defense for her son and took care of the hospitalization costs at the El Cedro clinic, located in La Reina.
However, after the ruling of the Santiago Court of Appeals, the young man was transferred to the Santiago 1 prison, where he remains to this day.
Calderón Jr. has been serving preventive detention in the Health Area of that enclosure, due to the health protocols resulting from the pandemic.
