Huachipato and La Serena drew 1-1 at the CAP Stadium at the close of the Friday day of the First Division National Tournament.
The meeting was intense and it was the papayeros who opened the account at 16 minutes through Humberto Suazo, who converted from twelve steps, who reached two goals in the current championship.
Those led by Francisco Bozán entered the field with just five points and urgently needed to add to get out of the last place in the table, but despite going 1-0 up, they could not hold the result.
At 39 minutes Huachipato reached the tie also by a penalty and it was Juan Sánchez Sotelo who put the final 1-1 in Talcahuano.
In the second part of the match, Huachipato took the initiative but found an inspired Zacarías López, who prevented the steelmakers from getting up on the scoreboard.
In the last minute, Sánchez Sotelo scored to give us the victory, however, he was annulled for being offside.
Huachipato reached 15 points, while La Serena has six units and remains last in the standings.
