How to apply for the DS49 Grant?

To apply you must enter the site of Minvu and complete the form. Then you will receive an email indicating that your information was received and that it will then be received. What are the amounts covered by the DS49 Subsidy?

The state contribution is made up of a base subsidy of 314 UF which will increase depending on the location of the home and additional subsidies will be added depending on the family group.

The amounts would be:

  • Base from 314 UF (It varies according to the commune where the house is located).
  • Complementary (according to characteristics of the home and the family group):
    • Location (urban areas): 200 UF.
    • Feasibility (rural areas): 120 UF.
    • Densification in height (from three floors): 110 UF.
    • Disability (special works in the home): 20 or 80 UF.
    • Additional area (homes built over 37.5 m2): up to 50 UF.
    • Additional savings award (more than 10 UF at the time of application): up to 30 UF.

What requirements does the DS49 Grant ask for?

This benefit asks for some requirements for Chilean or foreign people over 18 years of age, such as:

  • Apply with a family nucleus accredited in the Social Registry of Households
  • Have a minimum saving of 10 UF until August 31, 2020 (2:00 p.m.). Any deposit after these hours, is made effective the next day.
  • Be holders of a savings account for housing
  • Belong to the 40% of the population with fewer resources, according to the Social Registry of Households.
  • Not own a home or be beneficiaries of other subsidies.

Those who apply without a family nucleus must:

  • Have a disability accredited by COMPIN
  • Being adults over 60
  • Have the quality of indigenous
  • Being widowed
  • Be recognized as a victim of political imprisonment or torture in the Rettig Commission report, or being a relative of one.
