The chairman of the Republican Party, Jose Antonio Kast, congratulated the deputy Pamela jiles (PH) after he abstained from voting on the motion of censure against the board of directors of the Chamber of Deputies and Deputies.
“How good that @pamjiles (Pamela Jiles) voted with the right today. @diegopaulsen (Diego Paulsen) has been a tremendous president of the Chamber of Deputies and he did not deserve to be removed. Very good grandmother! ”, The former UDI deputy wrote on his Twitter account.

The motion of censure against the board of directors, made up of Diego Paulsen (RN), Francisco Undurraga (Evópoli) and Rodrigo González (PPD), pointed to the violation of the right to vote that would have been committed against the deputy Camila Vallejo (PC) and Cristóbal Urruticoechea (RN).
However, with 68 votes in favor, 69 against and 5 abstentions, the action was unsuccessful. Key votes in the opposition would turn into abstentions: Florcita Alarcon (PH), Jenny Alvarez (P.S), Renato Garin (Independent), Felix Gonzalez (PEV) and Pamela jiles (PH).
The deputy explained through her social networks that she abstained from voting on this censorship because she considered that the table “has fulfilled its constitutional obligations”.
“A false accusation was made. I do not endorse injustices, whatever side they are“Wrote the humanist deputy.
