A homicide was registered during the early hours of this Sunday at Quinta Normal, at the intersection of Matucana with Catedral, on the outskirts of the Quinta Normal Metro.
According to the PDI Homicide Squad, the events occurred when the victim was driving his Hyundai Tucson around the place, where he was violently approached by unknown persons when he stopped at the traffic light.
Through the use of firearms, they fired at least 3 shots at the victim, which caused his death at the scene.
Gabriel Alarcón, deputy commissioner of the PDI’s Metropolitan Homicide Brigade, told Radio Bío Bío that they are analyzing the ballistic and strike evidence.
Meanwhile, expert reports are being carried out to determine the identity of the deceased, since no personal species or documentation could be found at the scene. However, it is presumed that he would be a foreigner, since he is a black person.
