“Never in the entire pandemic have we seen so many infections, hospitalizations and Chileans in critical condition. Never, in these twelve months, have we been subjected to so many restrictions on our freedoms as we have begun to live in recent days. The health, economic, social and political impacts are being experienced with special intensity these days“, he warned.
“THE EFFORT MUST BE REDUCED IN SOCIAL SOLUTIONS”
On the basis of this diagnosis, which “is aggravated” -in his judgment- by the political division, and from his experience of “suffering firsthand the ailments of this disease”, the leader made a “broad appeal to all political sectors and people of good will who have interference in the decisions of their sectors, to join our forces to find together the best way that allows us to move forward “.
“My first call is for the Government. “CERTAINTIES FOR WORKERS”
The letter continues: “A third call is for the businessmen and employers of our country. We know and I am aware that many have suffered enormous economic losses and that some no longer have the resources for their companies to survive. But in the same way, there are millions of Chileans who are locked in their homes and who live in despair and uncertainty seeing what the future holds“he mused.

Finally, José Antonio Kast launched a “desperate call” to those who are not respecting sanitary restrictions.
