The National Federation of Health Workers (Fenats) announced an indefinite strike starting at 8:00 am on Monday, November 23, due to, as detailed, the lack of responses from the Government to the requests of health officials.

It was the president of the national Fenats Patricia Valderas who confirmed this mobilization, ensuring that after eight months of talks, three national mobilizations and two days of unemployment still do not have a satisfactory response from the Government.

He also explained that among the union’s requests are the Covid Bonus, the cancellation of the User Treatment Bonus in its section one, the incorporation of tens to the Health Code, as well as improvements in the budget per capita health by 2021.

From Fenats they detailed that, despite this indefinite strike, the work of health officials will continue with ethical shifts.
