The man who starred in a violent altercation with the military after participating in an unauthorized religious cult in Los Angeles, Bío Bío region, gave his version of events. “He hit me and I was left with injuries,” he said about the moment in which he pretended to be run over by a truck, which was recorded in a widely reproduced video.

Regarding the images that circulated with the minute in which he simulates, between screams, the run over, he maintained that the truck “hit me and I was injured.” That dramatic moment continued with Lagos dropping to the ground and crawling to get lower than the vehicle. “It was a clumsy mistake. I did it so that the truck would stop and not follow the white car -in which his nieces were going- “, he said.
He later stated that he regrets his reaction. “I was wrong and I put my chest to the bullets. I apologize to all those who feel harmed, starting with the military, “he clarified. He added that he is “a good, honest, charitable man and a good father.”
Radio Bío Bío was able to confirm that two people -Lagos and his son-in-law- were detained for attacks on military personnel and health authorities. In addition, a summary was sent to the owner of the property where the worship was held.
However, the man closed by acknowledging that “maybe I got out of hand.” After the events, both were left with national roots and a prohibition to approach the victim.
