The Chilean tennis player Thomas Barrios (263rd in the ATP ranking) bowed this Sunday in the final of the Challenger 80 in Santiago, a clay-court tournament that was played this week at the Club Manquehue facilities.

The third national racket went from less to more in terms of performance in the definition, but insufficient to disturb the Argentine Sebastian Baez (253º). The native of Buenos Aires did not have worries and with a solid baseline game he beat the chillanejo with sets of 6-3 and 7-6 (4).

Báez dominated all facets of the game in the capital, standing out in the points won with the first and second service: 61 and 69 percent, respectively (Barrios presented 56 and 50%).
