The new representatives of the government of Juan Guaidó in Chile is Carlos Millán 27, who referred to the latest report by a UN commission on human rights violations in Venezuela by the government of Nicolás Maduro.
Millán affirmed that there is ignorance on the part of the Communist Party of Chile about the situation in Venezuela, after the store criticized the UN report and accused the US of intervention.
“The Chilean CP is so misinformed that it does not know that the Venezuelan communists have been persecuted and intervened when they do not agree with the policy of the dictatorship. If the Venezuelan CP, which has been persecuted many times, does not even have the support of its counterpart in Chile, what can I tell you, “he said in an interview with the newspaper El Mercurio.
Regarding his role, after the departure of Guarequena Gutiérrez, Millán said that they aim to reposition the crisis in Venezuela in public opinion, which in his opinion has been put aside after the social outbreak and the covid-19 pandemic.
“Our goal is to make the issue of Venezuela visible in Chile again, since due to the same objective conditions that currently occurs due to the pandemic and internal issues in Chile, it has remained a little below,” he added.
