A total of 24 deputies from Renovación Nacional signed a letter in support of the management of the bank chief Sebastián Torrealba, after the public impasse lived by him with the legislator RN Jorge Durán, last Thursday in the National Congress.
“The deputies who signed this letter, we want to express our full support to the head of the RN bench, Sebastián Torrealba, in the face of the offensive, unjust and offensive words uttered by the deputy Jorge Durán,” says the letter.
The letter is generated after Durán’s sayings, which pointed to the head of the bench as “the worst boss in history” and of “using his position for his own benefit”, after accusing him of preventing him from voting in replacement of the deputy Camila Flores , in the Constitution commission, for the second withdrawal of 10%.
According to the 24 signatories of the letter, the RN leader is far from the affirmations of his accusing partner, because in his opinion Torrealba “has provided all the possible and necessary means to generate the pertinent instances of dialogue and debate. For this reason, we express all our support and gratitude to him for the consistent leadership of the bench in especially difficult times ”.
Likewise, the letter also calls on Jorge Durán to retract and offer public apologies to the head of the bank, given the commotion caused by his accusations,
The letter was signed by legislators Karin Luck, Francisco Eguiguren, José Miguel Castro, Leopoldo Pérez, Frank Sauerbaum, Harry Jürguensen, Diego Paulsen, Cristóbal Urruticoechea, Gonzalo Fuenzalida, Miguel Mellado, Carlos Kuschel, Diego Schalper, Bernardo Berger, Luis Pardo, Andrés Longton, Pablo Prieto, Jorge Ratgheb, Aracely Leuquén, Leonidas Romero, Catalina Del Real, Tomás Fuentes, René Manuel García, Alejandro Santana and Francesca Muñoz.
