This Monday the Government – in the voice of the Ministry of Health (Minsal) – delivered a new balance on the spread of the pandemic of coronavirus in the country.
Undersecretary Paula Daza, in the company of Minister Enrique Paris, reported that in the last 24 hours they confirmed 1,517 new cases of infections, of which 941 are symptomatic and 525 are asymptomatic
With this, the total number of people in the country suffering and suffered from covid-19 amounts to 482,888.
The Active cases, meanwhile, within the national territory are 15,025.
In parallel, 454,484 patients have recovered from the disease.
In the last hours, they also lost their lives 61 people because of the pandemic. The total number of deaths since the pandemic spread is 13,379.
The authorities also commented that in the health network there are 785 hospitalized patients due to health complications associated with the pandemic. Of these, 611 remain on mechanical ventilation.
Also, 88 infected are classified as “critical.”
Finally, Undersecretary Daza said that in the last 24 hours they applied 35,907 PCR tests (3,729,159 in total).
