A new modification of criteria was reported this Saturday by the Official Gazette, which indicates that people who enter Chile from abroad they will not be obliged to quarantine, This just if they have a negative PCR test.

Specifically, the measure implemented by the Ministry of Health will begin to govern starting next Monday, October 19.

In turn, the modification counts with two caveats for those who arrive on national soil from another country.

The first of these is that the PCR test in question must have been done up to 72 hours before entering Chile.

The second indicates that the test must have been carried out in a laboratory recognized by the health authority of that country.

In turn, the document established that -also from Monday- the realization of religious services, rites and ceremonies of the different religious communities, this in localities that are from Phase 2 onwards of the Step by Step plan.

In this line, for this, certain restrictions must be met, such as that the activities do not exceed two hours in duration, and that the maximum capacity -both in open and closed spaces- must not exceed one person per every four useful square meters.

Likewise, it was indicated that “Cinemas, theaters and similar are allowed to operate, without the sale or consumption of beverages and food, up to 50% of its capacity and keeping a minimum distance of one meter between the attendees ”.
