The Minister Secretary General of the Presidency, Christian MonckebergHe affirmed that as a government they expect the second withdrawal of 10% of the pension funds to be approved on Thursday afternoon.

“If all goes well, this law should be dispatched today in the afternoon (…) We hope to have support in the Chamber of Deputies. If so, the bill has to go to a third process in the Senate that should take place today, “Monckeberg told La Tercera.

“Today it should be approved so that this December families can access those resources that are very necessary. Once approved it is its promulgation and publication ”, added Monckeberg.

According to the minister, the presentation of his own project for the withdrawal of 10% is because “we wanted to do it well, we wanted to comply with the regulations. Not only present the project, but that it complies with the constitutional regulations ”.

The project will be discussed and voted on in the Chamber of the Chamber of Deputies on Thursday, stating that it was approved yesterday Wednesday by the Chamber’s Labor Commission, where it was approved that the payment of taxes is from the 1.5 million and that the AFPs have a period of 10 days to pay the first installment.
