In the balance on coronavirus cases in the country delivered today by the Minsal, the authorities announced a series of measures around the management of the pandemic.

As explained by the Undersecretary for Crime Prevention, Katherine Martorell, interregional travel permits may not be used to move in these places.
The authority also announced that as of this Friday, October 2 the curfew will be brought forward in the Magallanes Region. It will take effect at 8:00 p.m. and will end at 5:00 a.m.
The latter due to the fact that in that area there has been an increase in cases of coronavirus in recent weeks: they doubled in September. In Magallanes today there are 8,656 accumulated cases.
There are 1,526 active cases in the region, being the third with the most active cases behind Metropolitan 3,302 and Biobío with 1,737. In that line, Magallanes exceeds the Metropolitan in terms of the accumulated incidence rate (total cases per 100,000 inhabitants), with 4,758.3 versus 3,938.8.
On the other hand, during the balance, the authorities were consulted about a recommendation that the Covid-19 Advisory Council would have made regarding not making changes to the curfew until the impact on the level of contagions that it may have brought is clear. the celebration of the National Holidays.
“With regard to the impact of the September 18 festivities, we have seen that in recent days, except in some regions, we have seen an increase, but we have to wait until the weekend to see the real impact of the September 18 festivities“, He said.
