A 45-year-old woman of Peruvian nationality is hospitalized in life-threatening condition after receiving at least 10 stab wounds from her partner of the same nationality, who was arrested and who will be formalized for frustrated femicide.
According to the police record, The event took place around 4:30 am on Monday at an address on Avenida La Paz, Recoleta commune, where police officers found the woman in an unconscious state.
The victim was taken to the San José Hospital, where the doctors determined that the woman had at least 10 stab wounds in the thoracic region, for which she was hospitalized at risk of life. Meanwhile, the 35-year-old suspect was arrested.
