Carabineros detained in the last hours a 50-year-old man investigated as the perpetrator of the crime of frustrated femicide against his partner, attack occurred in full public highway in the commune of Santiago Centro.
The incident, which occurred last Wednesday afternoon, was exposed when service personnel of the militarized police, at the intersection of the Calle San Pablo with Capuchinos, found the victim, a 40-year-old woman, lying on the floor and convulsing, with a wound to the back of her head.
“The collected information indicates that This man seriously attacked his partner in the head, leaving her unconscious and lying on the street. Carabineros helps the woman, who later, upon regaining consciousness, indicates that she had been brutally assaulted by her partner“said this Saturday the Lieutenant Javiera García, from OS9.
“Given this, the investigation conducted by the Carabineros placed this subject as the perpetrator of frustrated femicide, achieving his arrest and formalization during this day“, detailed the police.
The individual was captured by police officers yesterday afternoon, Friday, at around 5:45 p.m. on the corner of Craftsmen with Gandarillas, in the capital commune of Recoleta.
