A four-year-old girl was injured after being hit by a so-called “crazy bullet” while he was at his home this Saturday afternoon in the commune of Independencia.
According to preliminary information, the incident occurred around 8:00 p.m. on Nueva de Matte street, and began with a fight on the public highway, in which shots were fired, and one of them hit the minor on the shoulder.
While, due to the same fact, another man suffered an impact ballistic on his leg.
“The fight or the settling of accounts had been with people who were in the public thoroughfare and one of these bullets enters through the door of a home and hits the minor in the shoulder,” explained the captain of the Carabineros, Hector Cornejo.
And he added that “an individual would have arrived firing various shots, hitting an adult in the thigh and, inside the home, a girl under 4 years old, who is in the Dávila Clinic.”
According to neighbors and other witnesses, the shots they would have been carried out from inside a vehicle. Specialized Carabineros personnel are investigating the fact, for which even there are no detainees.
