According to the information provided by the National Forestry Corporation (Conaf), the forest fires “La Engorda Reserva Nacional Lago Peñuelas” and “Hacienda Las Palmas 2” remain active. they consume an area of ​​2,000 and 70 hectares of vegetation.

On the other hand, the loss called “Ex Autódromo” with 0.8 hectares in the communes of Valparaíso and Quilpué remains under control.

As a result of these, 4 destroyed homes (1 second residence), 9 affected people, 2 warehouses and 6 destroyed cabins were reported, which were uninhabited in the “Betania” recreational center. The affected people moved to the homes of relatives.

Extinguished is the forest fire “Hacienda Las Palmas”, with an area of ​​90 hectares of vegetation in the municipality of Quilpué.

Finally, as for the connectivity, it is reported that traffic in both directions on route 60 CH Troncal Sur remains interrupted, between Calle Limache, district of Viña del Mar and Enlace Peñablanca, district of Villa Alemana.
