A family affected, 10 homes burned and about 7 thousand people evacuated in the Los Pinos sector of the Quilpué commune, they have been caused by the forest fire that consumes more than 2,000 hectares in the commune.
The government announced complaints, the initiation of investigations, and a broad operation between the Fire Brigade, Conaf, the police and the PDI to coordinate the emergency and the two evacuations carried out.
During this weekend there will be no curfew in the province of Marga Marga to favor the combat of the flames, which will resume this morning.
Six homes have been affected in the Los Pinos sector and a family was confirmed affected in the south of the Quilpué commune. Authorities have ordered the evacuation of about 7 thousand people while in the place no injured people have been perceived.
The National Emergency Office of the Ministry of the Interior made a call to evacuate the sectors of Los Pinos, Colinas de Oro, Las Rosas and Teniente Serrano, which are located in areas near the fire that has already consumed more than 400 hectares.
The fire caused a roadblock in the southern trunk during the afternoon, and consequently produced a series of vehicular congestion in different parts of the Valparaíso region.
The destination of the evacuation was the Municipal Stadium and the Autodrome of the Villa Olímpica sector, where about 25 thousand people were mobilized.
The President of the Republic, Sebastián Piñera, pointed out from his home where he is in isolation due to being close contact of a positive case of covid, that they have suspicions that the origin of the fire is intentional, for which he filed a criminal complaint.
They lift a curfew
The national defense chief, Rear Admiral Ramiro Navajas, confirmed to Radio Bío Bío overnight the decision to lift the curfew in the province of Marga Marga during the weekend, to combat the fire that caused the red alert remains.
On the other hand, Aida Baldini, director of Conaf stated that it is very likely that this incident has started intentionally.
The Minister of Agriculture, María Emilia Undurraga, referred to the wide availability of CONAF personnel and equipment, and indicated during the night that the meetings held are oriented to continue with the combat today.
Regarding the evacuation, the Minister of the Interior and Public Security, Rodrigo Delgado, called on those who have to evacuate during the combat of this emergency, put their lives as a main priority.
People from the Los Pinos sector called on the authorities to protect their homes from possible theft and gave details about the traffic on the routes surrounding the emergency.

The Health Valparaíso seremi, Francisco Álvarez, referred to the active cases of covid-19 that are being evacuated in the areas near the accident, clarifying that there are only two people.
ESVAL confirmed a solidarity drinking water cut for the Limache commune from 7 pm on Friday to 8 am this morning.
