With national roots for 180 days that the investigation lasts, two doctors remained, one of them the councilor of San Felipe Christian Beals, after a case that dates back to 2015, when a patient died in the Hospital of that commune due to a myocardial infarction.

According to the antecedents that are handled so far, the victim had to be transferred to a more complex hospital, something that did not happen due to the decision of both doctors.

The two doctors from the San Camilo de San Felipe Hospital were formalized for a quasi-crime of homicide. Francisco Jofré Campos and the sanfelipeño councilor Christian Beals Campos.

Events that occurred in December 2015, when a patient entered the emergency room with pain in his chest, being treated by Jofré, who performed an electrocardiogram, where it was confirmed that he was suffering from a myocardial infarction, so it must have been a more complex hospital, what would not have been done by decision of both doctors, dying on the spot.

The above was typified by near misdemeanor of homicide.

An investigation that has presented a long delay, due to the delay of some reports, as indicated by the Chief Prosecutor of San Felipe, Eduardo Fajardo.

Both doctors were left with the precautionary measure of national roots for 180 days that the investigation will last.

Consulted about it, Councilor Christian Beals, said that this was an undue formalization, since the patient was seen and treated by the internist on duty.

He added that at that time, I was a chief surgeon on duty and that at no time did he treat the patient.

He clarified that he is assigned responsibility for that position, but that does not imply responsibility in these cases, since it is only used for administrative purposes.
