Firefighters confirm death of a minor in a house fire in Cerro Las Cañas | National

Four units of the Valparaíso Fire Department are on Monday fighting the flames of a structural fire in Cerro Las Cañas, specifically at the address Avenida Alemania 9554. Firefighters confirmed the death of a minor.

It is a light material house completely on fire that is also affecting a hillside forest. The proximity to other homes in the sector is of concern.

At the beginning of the emergency, at about 9:15 p.m., a tall column of smoke was appreciated that could be seen from different points of the port city, for which Firefighters had to react quickly in the place to fight the fire.
