A fire affected 5 homes in Peñalolén during the afternoon of this Sunday, at the intersection of Valle Hermoso and Paso Nevado.

The incident mobilized several fire companies from Santiago and Ñuñoa, which had to fight the fire that initially affected 3 homes, then continued to expand towards another house and left a fifth with partial damage, as the fire only affected one floor.

As Radio Bío Bío could see in the place, there were problems with the water supply to fight the flames, so neighbors had to collaborate with water cans to complement the work of firefighters.

Fortunately, until the closing of this publication, no volunteers or injured civilians were registered, despite the fact that the incident was visible from different points of the capital.

Although they were able to quickly contain much of the fire, the work was complicated in a sector of difficult access, which is located on the side of a hill.
