A fire of proportions affected the well-known Persian Ashes, located on O’Higgins street in the downtown area of La Serena.
According to preliminary information, at least 17 premises they were affected by the accident, which was controlled by the action of the Fire Department volunteers who worked hard at the scene.
Although at first it was indicated that the flames originated in the kitchen of the Santa Isabel supermarket, apparently the fire would have started in a Chinese food establishment.
According to an El Día team at the site, the tenants, visibly affected, arrived at the site to be able to rescue part of their belongings.
It should be noted that the name of the Persian originated precisely from a fire that occurred in the eighties.
