The father of the RN deputy, Jorge Durán, ended up with a sharp wound after an encounter with a neighbor, who asked him to lower the volume of the music he was listening to.
As explained by the parliamentarian, the incident occurred yesterday when the aggressor threatened his father, who repeatedly asked him not to continue with a party that was taking place in the sector.
“It is unfortunate the attitude of some antisocials who are not capable of maintaining a dialogue, that when a person, an older adult, approaches to ask for the music to be turned down, these people react violently without provoking any provocation, they act directly to attack with a short stabbing weapon, causing stab wounds, perforation of one of my father’s lungs, ”said the deputy.
He added that “I hope that justice is done and this antisocial receives all the corresponding sanctions. We are in a complicated period of the year, ending a year of pandemic, with different problems at the national level ”.
In that sense, Durán called for “people to remain calm, not to act with violence, that this outburst, which that person incurred, did not realize that the life of a human being was incurring, the life of my father. , of a grandfather, who today is in vital risk, waiting for him to evolve in a good way.
For its part, the Carabineros reported that it managed to arrest the 52-year-old subject who would be the main responsible for the incident.
