In the midst of the spontaneous demonstrations that have emerged in various parts of the capital to commemorate a year of the social outbreak, one was especially emotional, and it took place in San Bernardo.
A group of people gathered at the smear from the house of Fabiola Campillai, the woman who lost both of her eyes after being hit by a tear gas canister thrown by the police, while waiting for public transport to go to work.
Before the spontaneous tribute, Fabiola left her house and thanked the people for their affection. “I find your support very nice. All the people have always been with me. Thank you very much ”, he assured.

Baquedano in red
Campillai also commented on what happened to the statue of General Manuel Baquedano, when it was completely painted red in the middle of the demonstration on Friday.
The victim of police violence stated that for her it was a tribute to all those who suffered attacks after the outbreak. “I feel like people support us, paint the horse, excuse me if it bothers someone. Support is very important for us, ”he said.
