The latest Epidemiological Report of the Ministry of Health, with data obtained up to November 30, brings good news for the regions of La Araucanía, Los Ríos and Los Lagos, since they managed to reduce the number of active cases in the region. Contrary to the situation that occurs in the Biobío.
In that period, 55 contagious agents were added in Biobío and 6 were reduced in La Araucanía, 55 in Los Lagos and 123 in Los Ríos.
The increase for the Biobío region represents 2.3% of the 2,148 cases that had been counted days ago, while for the other three regions they correspond to -0.5%, -8.2% and -9.1 % respectively.
At the national level, 10 regions reduced their active cases: those already mentioned, plus Arica and Parinacota (-12 cases), Tarapacá (-6), Antofagasta (-12), O’Higgins (-33), Maule (-27) , Ñuble (-42) and Magallanes (-8).
Meanwhile, the reality worsened relatively in Atacama (+1), Coquimbo (+35), Valparaíso (+54), the Metropolitan (+113) and Aysén (+3).
In the Metropolitan Region, the commune that increased its cases the most was Santiago, which accounted for 154, 43 more than the last measurement. Las Condes also increased 25 cases and Maipú in 21.
