by César Vega Martínez
An Argentine nurse named Mónica viralized a dramatic record that reveals what the fight of health officials against COVID-19 is like. Specifically, the professional showed how his hands were after a full shift at the hospital in Santa Fe.
Specifically, the 34-year-old woman published a photograph where she reveals the deterioration of the skin on her hands after more than eight hours of wearing surgical gloves.
“This is what my hand looks like after taking off my gloves … it doesn’t matter, we will still have a long way to go,” the nurse wrote.
In just a few hours the image has been shared nearly 300 times by other people, who were moved by the testimony.

Similar situations had been exposed by Argentine health officials at the beginning of the pandemic, by exposing how their faces were after long hours of work.
That had been a wake-up call to the population of the world to take care of yourself and avoid the collapse of health systems, situation that these days is evident in that country.
Without going any further, after several months Argentina surpassed Chile in the number of infections and deaths due to the coronavirus, with 665 thousand infected and more than 14,000 deaths.
It should be noted that this territory has the most extensive general quarantine in the world, which began on March 20 after the announcement of President Alberto Fernández.
Despite all this, the president has indicated on several occasions that the country has not reached the top in the health system.
