In these times, hacker movements such as anonymous have published secrets on the most diverse topics, including passwords, but this is not one of those stories. It is about a Dutchman who only guessed the password to the Twitter account of the president of the United States, Donald Trump.

According to the newspaper of the Netherlands, By Volkskrant, Victor Gevers was able to access Donald Trump’s account without any problem, just trying to guess what the president’s password would be. We think that a figure of such level would have excessive security in their accounts, but apparently this is not the case.

Twitter denies the story

But not everything is so clear since Gevers, who is an expert in cybersecurity, claims that he entered the account and that he had access to direct messages from Donald Trump, but Twitter denies his entry.

“We have not seen any evidence to support this claim,” the company said in a statement. “We proactively implement account security measures for a designated group of high profile Twitter accounts related to elections in the United States,” they concluded.

For its part, the daily De Volkskrant spoke with the author of the “hack.” “I was expecting to be blocked after four unsuccessful attempts or at least to ask for additional information,” Gevers said. By what counts, he entered on his fifth attempt.

And it is not the first time that Gevers has attracted the attention of the CIA, the White House, the FBI and Twitter, since in 2016, he had already managed to enter Donald Trump’s account with the password “yourefired”, his favorite phrase in the The Apprentice program.
