In his latest report, the doctor maintained that Nano Calderón did not show traits associated with diseases such as schizophrenia or bipolarity.
“Nor does it seem to me that there are elements to suggest that the patient has an antisocial personality disorder or a psychopathy. There are no elements that allow me to say today that Hernán Calderón is a psychopath, a criminal, a cold, heartless guy, who does not feel affection or love for anyone, who has no shame. Nor there is nothing on that line. What there are are psychological conflicts that I think have to do with how their identity has been structured. And that has to do with the fact that he comes from a complex family ”, he explained.
Likewise, Paz indicated that his current patient has been exposed to “unusually high” doses of medications, hinting that these could decrease over time.
“Maybe what I think is going to happen will happen, which is that without medication, Hernán Calderón Argandoña will be doing very well, he will continue just as well. Or perhaps by taking the medications away, signs and symptoms of a psychiatric condition may appear that does require treatment. In this minute there is no reason to suspect that this will happen.
