Doctor Ugarte after being vaccinated against the coronavirus: “It is really an injection of hope”

Dr. Sebastián Ugarte was one of the health officials who was vaccinated this Friday against the coronavirus.

The head of the Critical Patient Unit of the Indisa Clinic was inoculated precisely in said healthcare facility, after the arrival in Chile of the first 10,000 doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine yesterday Thursday.

“It is really an injection of hope. Many colleagues, paramedics, nurses, doctors, are getting vaccinated right now and seeing their faces of joy, of hope, after facing the disease face to face day by day” , noted 24 Hours.

Regarding his condition after the vaccination, he stated that “I felt very good, the puncture did not hurt at all and afterwards I did not feel anything different from normal.”

Finally, Dr. Ugarte remarked that “we needed a little hope, many health officials throughout the country are a little tired and this is really what we needed. A second wind.”
