This Friday, October 30, is a very special day for the football planet, because Diego Armando Maradona celebrates a new year of life by celebrating his 60th birthday.

In that sense, at RedGol we wanted to gather some photographs of the Argentine idol with Chilean footballers: Arturo Vidal, Alexis Sánchez, Claudio Bravo, Iván Zamorano, Elías Figueroa, Carlos Caszely are just some of those who have shared with Pelusa.

Here we leave you some of the images:

Caszely and Maradona

The first game that Maradona played in Chile was on March 11, 1980. El Pelusa arrived at the age of 19 and already one of the best in the world. However, with Argentinos Juniors he could not avoid a 2-3 defeat against Colo Colo de Caszely, Carlos Rivas, Severino Vasconcelos and Ramón Ponce.

In the 1992-93 season of the Spanish League the two players ran into each other: the Argentine defended Sevilla, while the Chilean defended Real Madrid. That day the Pibe de Oro had to see how Zamorano celebrated a triplet in the Merengue victory by 5-0.
