The Theft Brigade of the PDI investigates a trap that ended with an official of the institution shot.
The situation occurred last night in Quinta Transversal with Segunda Avenida in San Miguel, when the deputy inspector of the Intellectual Property Crimes Investigation Brigade was walking to his home.
At that moment, he notices a lock up that two individuals were carrying out, which is why he identified himself as a detective to thwart the crime. At that moment, was shot by one of the assailants, so the PDI used their service weapon.
The cop finished with a wound on a femur, for which he is seriously admitted to the Carabineros Hospital, but out of life risk.
Preliminarily it is said that they would have carried out 30 shots in the place. In fact, at least two gunshot wounds were recorded in one house. In another house, meanwhile, shells were found.
However, at the moment it is not known if any of the assailants were injured during their escape.
The victim, meanwhile, fled the place in his car and is wanted to know her testimony and thus find the whereabouts of the perpetrators of the crime.
