Anime movie Murderer of demons broke the box office record in Japan, its producers announced Monday, dethroning the classic Spirited Away (2001) from the famous Studio Ghibli.
Based on a homonymous manga, Murderer of demons It has already generated 32.5 billion yen (257 million euros, $ 314 million) in theatrical revenue since its premiere in Japan in October, attracting more than 24 million viewers.
