The Ombudsman for Children confirmed that he will present a “constitutional action” for the reported detention of a seven-year-old girl in Temucuicui, who is the daughter of the murdered community member Camilo Catrillanca.
This institution warned that it was a “illegal and arbitrary” procedure against the minor, initials GPCA, and assured that it will intervene in this case as soon as possible.
As it transpired this Thursday afternoon on social networks, the girl was taken by PDI officials along with her mother and grandmother while they went to the Angol Court, which yesterday handed down sentences for the crime of the young Mapuche, which occurred in 2018.
Given the illegal and arbitrary detention of the 7-year-old La Niña of GPCA initials yesterday in Temucuicui, the Children’s Ombudsman is already working on the corresponding constitutional action and it will be presented shortly.

Later, the own Marcelo Catrillanca, father of the deceased, assured in Radio Usach that “Camilo’s daughter was arrested today by the PDI, my wife, and Camilo’s wife.”
