Defeat of the opposition: Chamber of Deputies rejected censorship of the table

Ultimately the opposition did not achieve its purpose. The Chamber of Deputies rejected the censorship of the table, led by parliamentarian Diego Paulsen, with 68 votes in favor, 69 against and 5 abstentions.

Four opposition parliamentary committees had presented a new motion of censure against the table of the Chamber of Deputies, chaired by the RN, Diego Paulsen, after the parliamentarians Camila Vallejo (PC) and Cristóbal Urruticoechea (RN) were not allowed to vote. ), in the session on October 15, on the Comprehensive Child Sex Education project.

Both parliamentarians were present in the session, but then had to withdraw, before which the table headed by Paulsen did not allow them to vote electronically.

At the beginning of November, the Radical Party (PR) had presented a motion of censure, which was later withdrawn, after a meeting with the leaders of the opposition parties.
