During the Cyberday carried out in August, according to the Santiago Chamber of Commerce, estimated sales of more than $ 368 million, with more than four million transactions nationwide, double what was registered in 2019.

The security experts emphasize that the key process is the payment, which is carried out in a place other than the commerce, in an intermediary, either the bank or the credit card issuer, so precautions must also be taken .

Some tips to buy quiet online and not regret it later:

  1. Write the URL of the store and make sure that it starts with https, which corresponds to the protocol that validates the site in data transfer security. Check that there is a lock icon on the bar. All shopping sites or banks where you enter a username and password are under this secure protocol, but it never hurts to look at the full address of the site.

This will help you in the event that there is a problem in the transaction or with the payment of the card, to make a claim in a simpler way.
