The second round of the National Championship only takes two dates but there is already a club that is left without a DT. This Thursday Curicó Unido announced the surprise resignation of Nicolás Larcamón from technical banking.

The Argentine and his coaching staff decided to end their relationship with the torteros just as the team struggles to get into the fight for the title. A situation that would be explained by the interest of other clubs abroad.

In fact, the cast of the seventh region itself issued a statement stating that “The main reason for this decision is due to specific offers of job offers in football markets other than Chile“.

This interest would come from Mexico, which again leaves Chile without protagonists. Although in the case of Larcamón, it has been a while since he appeared on the national courts.

The trans-Andean left the country at the beginning of November to visit his family on the other side of the mountain range. After months without seeing them due to the coronavirus pandemic, the DT requested authorization to travel, but tested positive for Covid-19 and had to stay longer than expected. So much so that he even left.

For now, Curicó Unido prepares the duel for the next date against Colo Colo with its new coaching staff, which is made up of Damián Muñoz as coach, Rodrigo Cofré as physical trainer and René Díaz as goalkeeper coach.
