Carabineros reported that during the last hours some criminals tried to enter a department in the commune of The Counts, through the balcony and using a ladder.

The event happened on Avenida Presidente Riesco during the night of yesterday Friday.

In that place, the owner of the house – an Argentine citizen with a diplomatic post in Chile – heard noises and leaned out onto the balcony.

The victim immediately noticed that two men were trying to access his apartment through the balcony, climbing through the outside with the help of the ladder.

The homeowner reported that the criminals fled when they noticed that he had noticed the attempted robbery.

The procedure in this case was in charge of the Carabineros of the 17th Las Condes Police Station. The two subjects who tried to carry out the robbery are at large and the data remained in the hands of the Prosecutor’s Office.
